Our Research

Our research aims at contributing to the fundamental understanding of 3D structures and properties in a wide range of materials by joining experiments to a multiscale modeling approach. In particular we focus on bioinspired,  hybrid, and self-assembled materials, with particular interest to interactions and interfaces.

CMN – Chemistry of Novel Materials

We are a dynamic computational and experimental laboratory within the University of Mons (UMONS, Belgium) involved in several national and international research projects, in collaboration with academic and industrial partners. Our group is led by 5 Principal Investigators and includes 3 Senior researchers and about 30 more people between post doctoral researchers, PhD and Master students, and administrative/technical staff.
